Upcoming Litter: Spring 2026
We are planning to breed Xo to Alli in March 2026. These puppies will be born in Mid to late May and be ready to go home in July! This litter could produce all 6 GSP patterns (liver & white, solid liver, liver roan, black and white, solid black, and black roan)

Xo – VC Xo Von Burkhart MH HR RDX NA1 UT1
Xo resides at Cross Kennels in New York. Xo is an amazing hunting machine. He has hunted sharptail grouse, sage grouse, ruffed grouse, huns, woodcock, and pheasants. His experience isn’t just limited to upland. He is a go to duck dog for blue bill merganser, wood duck, and mallards. His experience stretches from Montana, Minnesota and all the way home to New York.

Alli – UKC Ch BNJ’s Dark Secret of Rock Creek FCAT, CAA, UBT I and ABTA Started and Seasoned
Alli’s legacy is well known in the detection industry with 9+ working puppies between two litters. She is Travis’ go to dog for deer tracking and new things. I have enjoyed time showing her to her UKC Championship, lure coursing (both fastcat and coursing ability tests). This dog can go from long days working in the field to curled up sleeping in our bed. She has all the drive you want with the off-switch that you can live with. This will be Alli’s final litter so if you have been thinking about a pup from her let us know soon as our wait-list is almost full.
November/December 2025 Colt and Bocephus
Bo is an amazing and intelligent dog with great toy drive. She loves playing frisbee, fetching things that are shot and thrown and hanging out with her family. Her first litter (D) has multiple pups in training for detection work. Colt is the sire of our C litter (they attended the AKC’s National Detection Dog Conference in Ohio in 2024 at the Robert’s Center). This litter has two pups at TSA, two at the University of South Florida, and one in Canada all doing Explosives detection work. Three in great hunting/family homes and Nadia is in training for HRD (we almost earned our first NAVHDA Natural Ability Award with three scores 105+! Two Prize I and a Prize II). I was so happy with that litter (along with everyone that met them) I wanted to pair him with Bocephus to produce more amazing detection and hunting dogs. This litter will not produce any black puppies, but could produce all 3 GSP liver patterns: liver & white, solid liver, liver roan.

Colt – Ch Rollin Hills Equalizer NA I
Colt is described as ‘the best wild bird dog I’ve ever owned’. He can range up to 300 yards on open prairies but ranges in close for pheasant. He has a natural retrieve and back. His pedigree has many NAVHDA VC in it. His AKC championship was finished by our own Paige in 2018. CHIC 155405 (all passing results)

Bocephus – Apple River’s Family Tradition CGC TKN
Bocephus spends most of her time with another local family where she has gotten to complete a bear and deer track. She has also gotten to hunt pheasants, squirrel and raccoon. She also has started to learn disc games. She regularly tests dogs for their CGC and enjoys finding toys. She has her CGC and Novice Trick dog titles. Bo loves the water. She is CHIC 21644.

Past Litters
We are always breeding with the future in mind, but where would we be without our past? These litters represent a lot of blood, sweat, tears, heart and soul that went into each puppy. These dogs helped to shape our future plans and showcase out successes.
