Meet Nadia
Nadia is from our C Litter (Colt x Alli) born 5/13/24. At 6 months old Nadia entered the conformation ring and picked up a couple of puppy of achievement points. Since then Nadia has primarily focused on training for human remains detection. Not everything around here is serious work and she has gotten to try dock diving. She makes regular appearances as a test dog for CGC testing at Kirkwood. In 2024 Nadia earned her virtual scentwork beginner title.

Nadia was one of two girls in her litter and I knew I wanted to keep a girl. Nadia had caught my eye early on for her drive, but her sister had better conformation. After discussing options with the other family wanting a girl it was decided Nadia would stay here. From there she has taken Travis and I on an incredible journey learning about different search and rescue venues such as live find, track trailing, and human remains detection.
2024 Earned first AKC Title
Nadia earned her first AKC title in 2024 completing her AKC Virtual Scentwork Beginner (VSWB).
Training for HRD
Nadia began training for HRD in 2024. Will hopefully be certifying in 2026.
Health Testing
Nadia’s eyes are normal (3/2025) by an ophthalmologist. She is normal/clear for Cone Degeneration and Von Willebrand Disease I & II (results not yet on ofa ask for email verification). AKC DNA: V40010490. When Nadia turns two in May 2026 we will complete her GSPCA required health testing
Future Plans
2026 looks like a busy year for Nadia with health testing, hopeful certification for HRD and some fun titles like CGC, dock jumping and maybe coursing. Eventually she will also be used in our breeding program.
